The trajectory of the professional team of EPM Gas Technology

EPM Gas Technology, in these 20 years of experience has been expanding its team of professionals in line with its evolution within the gas sector.

To present the incorporations of the last years we will do it by countries, in this case France and Spain, where there have been most of the incorporations.

In France, we highlight the incorporations of Aly Sidibe and Pierre Oger.

Aly entered in June 2017 as a maintenance technician for the Lyon region and has been progressing to become Team Leader today. Aly has always been a very involved person with the company from day one and has greatly demonstrated her enthusiasm for the company’s expansion project in her country.

Pierre joined EPM in February 2019, like Aly, he started as a maintenance technician for the Rennes region and is currently Team leader from the region of Bretagne and Loire.

During this year the team of maintenance technicians in France has increased with Thomas Faure, Mukesh Mourouganandame, Emmanuel Sallée and Thomas Besnard.

We have been able to talk a little more with Thomas Faure and he has told us about his experience at EPM.

“I have been an employee of the company since August 1, 2019.

 I was hired as an operator, but today I am a construction supervisor in France. My job is to carry out the control and monitoring of the work to verify that all the steps are being carried out in perfect conditions. I am in direct contact with the team from France and Spain.

 Working for EPM has not been easy. But we have learned from the most difficult moments and it has helped us to be stronger in our day to day.”

We are currently working on the future creation of new teams in Paris and Angers.

In Spain, there have been many incorporations over the past few years. We highlight the most recent additions, that of Roberto Puente in the commercial area in February 2019, which supports Raúl Cámara and in the area of ​​information technology we have incorporated Eduardo Padrós in mid-2018. Roberto Puente has answered the following questions:  

When did you start working at EPM?

A: I started working at the end of February 2019.

What is your current position?

A: I am Commercial Manager.

What tasks do you do in your day to day?

A: Know and investigate new projects in the new construction sector of Gasineras in the public and private sectors, in order to offer our services and solutions to our customers.

If you had to choose an inspirational motivational phrase at work, what would it be?

A: “No one has changed the world by working 40 hours a week” Elon Musk.

In the technical engineering area we incorporate the following engineers: Michele Maurizzi in July 2012, Sergio Concepción in 2013 as head of the department and Mº José Domenech at the end of 2018, in the Madrid office.

Victor Mesa was also incorporated in mid-2018, to work as a draftsman and also supporting the backoffice and years later Américo O. Cárdenas was incorporated in September 2019 as an electric programmer. We have been able to talk a little more with Victor and these have been his answers.

When did you start working at EPM?

V: I started working in June 2018.

What is your current position?

V: My position is that of draftsman in the technical office.

What tasks do you do in your day to day?

V: My main task is drafting, drawing 2D drawings Y3D, I also have the Backoffice task (Order entry, stores, forum maintenance …)

If you had to choose an inspirational motivational phrase at work, what would it be?

V: Learning, in EPM I am learning a lot, both personally and professionally.

In the purchasing area, Carlos Moscoso was incorporated in August 2018, which is part of the team with Alba Roca, which was incorporated in July 2017 and with José Luis Andrés, which was incorporated last November.

When did you start working at EPM?

C: August 2018.

What is your current position?

C: Purchasing Manager.

What tasks do you do in your day to day?

 C: Planning and execution of purchases and logistics of the company.

If you had to choose an inspirational motivational phrase at work, what would it be?

 C: Everything is possible, as long as you think it is possible.

In the administrative area we have joined three members, in order of incorporation Susana Jové was in March 2017 as Financial department manager; Phara Sylvain at the end of 2018 and Santiago Roku in July 2019 both as collaborators in the department.

In the team of maintenance technicians is the area where there have been more incorporations in recent years, we highlight the following:

  • Barcelona: Sajjad Saleem (5/2015), Ramón Marcos (1/2017),  Alexis D. Cortés (11/2019),  Ismael El Mouden (3/2019) and Paul Messaoudene (6/2019).
  • Madrid: Jose M.Jimenez (5/2013) Miguel Morales (8/2019) and Luis M. San Román (9/2019).
  • Seville: Cipriano Jimenez (5/2018), Jesús Illán (6/2018), Jesús Pozo (3/2019) and José L. Castilla (7/2019).
  • Valencia: Joaquín Sanz (6/19) and Abrahan Hernandez (7/19).
  • Basque Country: Samir Bouayad (3/2019)
  • Palma Mallorca:  Francisco J. Prieto (10/19) and Miguel A. Rodriguez (11/19).

On the other hand, during the month of November Josep Segarra has been incorporated as responsible for the area of ​​quality, environment and safety; and Marga Losada as HR manager.

In 2020 we want to continue growing, providing motivation and commitment to our workers, because thanks to all of them we can continue to evolve as a company.
