Outstanding Engineering Project

Mother station CNG in TALARA

The gas that feeds this compression plant comes from oil wells located in Block II. The gas is suctioned at 19 bar and compressed to a final pressure of 250 bar. The gas is saturated with water and hydrocarbons, a situation that generates many breakdowns and anomalies in the operation. 

Maintaining the operation of the station, a separation system is installed prior to compression stage, after each compression stage and a cooling and expansion system at the end that allows to have a dry gas and recover a fraction of condensed hydrocarbons.
