Maroc Challenge Winter edition has arrived in Morocco, from December 1st to 8th and for the fourth consecutive year EPM Gas Technology ventures to participate in the raid with Carlos Novo, maintenance specialist of the headquarters of Madrid, and Joan Pascual, from EPM Barcelona’s technical office.
Together with our participants and sponsors we are about to finish the last details of the 4×4 that we will take to the competition and collecting information with colleagues who have participated in previous editions. Our vehicle will be registered in the ADVENTURE TT2, number 279 and will have a Patrol with the team name: EPM Gas Technology.
This fifteenth edition, starting at Midelt and ending at Saïdia, is being presented as one of the most interesting and demanding in the event history, with an unprecedented route full of tests and adventure.
Route itinerary
This year as in previous editions, the itinerary of each stage is modified according to the characteristics of each vehicle and the category in which it is registered, seeking the best experience for each participant. The route base will be the same, but small detours or parallel routes will be made in specific areas.
The tour stages will be the following:
- Stage 1: Midelt – Erfoud
- Stage 2: Erfoud – Zagora
- Stage 3: Zagora – Zagora
- Stage 4: Zagora – Merzouga
- Stage 5: Merzouga – Mengoub (Bivouac)
- Stage 6: Mengoub — Saïdia
School supplies contribution
One more year we will collaborate with Tafilalet des Handicapes en Arfoud, a cooperation project in the area providing indispensable school supplies. What we need is your collaboration to help as many people as possible!
You have until November 23rd to send us your school supplies contribution to our Barcelona office at Calle de la Mora number 52 in Badalona (Barcelona), to make it arrive to Moroccan schools.
