The EPM Gas Technology group closed 2018, inaugurating the Peixoto service station of Endesa in France. The ENDESA NGV station in Saint Vincent de Tyrosse, Peixoto is the name of the main customer of the station, was built in June 2018 and began its service in November 2018.
The station is located in Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse, in the south of France in the Aquitaine region. This station belongs to ENDESA and is part of the construction project of CNG stations in France, so this station is part of a much larger project. The complex is located on a plot of approximately 2,500 square meters and the station occupies a total area of 1,300 square meters.
In the station we have the following elements: 3 filling ways with 2 Tokheim Q310 dispensers, a compression zone that includes two compressors of 500 Nm3 Safe and has a storage space of up to 3,300 liters. The group feels very proud of this project although the construction process was a bit longer than expected since some incidents arose during its construction. Thanks to the effort and the involvement of all the workers and their proactivity, everything was solved in an effective way, getting the project carried out in less than five months.
Several departments have been involved in the construction of the station: the engineering, operations, purchasing departments and, finally, the maintenance team.
This CNG station has a differential value respect to the rest of the stations since most of the commercialized gas is biogas. Biogas is a combustible gas that is generated in natural environments and is a type of clean and renewable energy that has many advantages for the environment and the health of people.
