Our most outstanding projects since 1999

EPM Gas Technology in Spain has an extensive client portfolio for which it has carried out CNG installations for vehicular use since it opened its doors in 1999.

All facilities are analyzed and adapted to the needs of each client, this generates a remarkable benefit with the objective of maintaining the continuity of the service of its facilities in the most efficient way possible, while maintaining fully controlled costs.

The company covers all kinds of specialties of industrial type: high and low voltage, maneuvering and control, combustible gases, hydrocarbon installations, machinery in general (compressors, generator sets, pumping groups, fuel dispensers, elevators, crane bridges,… ), pressure vessels, heating and air conditioning, fire protection facilities, water facilities, sanitation facilities, detection facilities, engine test benches, environmental licenses and activities, analysis and creation of specific maintenance plans, among others.

Some of the most outstanding projects carried out during these years are:

TMB BARCELONA – CAR ZONE FRANCA, STREET A

For TMB Barcelona, ​​the basic design and maintenance of the repair shop of the free zone garage of public gas buses has been carried out. The station has a fast loading area with 8 NGV2 supply positions, each with the capacity to fill a bus in next periods to 3 minutes.

The vehicles are loaded by garage personnel, using the same streets as diesel vehicles, simultaneously loading both types of vehicles, whether they are CNG or diesel, internal cleaning and data download.

In addition, it has a separate supply position for NGV1 light vehicles of the fleet itself.

TUSSAM SEVILLA – SAN FERNANDO CAR

With TUSSAM SEVILLA, the Urban Transport of Seville, one worked in a private station for public buses. The installation is made up of 3 filling areas a fast loading zone, a parking area and a third one for light vehicles open to the public.

Fast loading is done through 6 automatic GNV2 pumps using the same streets as diesel vehicles, simultaneously loading both types of vehicles, whether they are CNG or diesel, internal cleaning and data download.

Recently an extension of the charging station has been carried out to supply up to 350 buses in fast loading.

EMT MADRID – FUENCARRAL CAR

For EMT Madrid, the Municipal Transport Company, EPM Gas Technology designed, built and maintains the Fuencarral Garage. It offers space for 400 buses in fast charge. The fast-fill zone has 6 positions and any of them complete the loading of a bus in approximately 3 minutes.

The vehicles are loaded by the driver himself, using the same streets as the diesel vehicles, regardless of the vehicle load, whether they are CNG or diesel. Charging time is used for interior cleaning and downloading of vehicle data.

We have also worked on other relevant projects:

• Private station for forklifts in the Damm logistics warehouse. The 40 trucks work in 3 shifts performing fast loading. The design, custom construction was performed and comprehensive maintenance is performed.
• Private station for the Municipal Transport Company of Valencia. The design, custom construction was performed and comprehensive maintenance is performed.
• EESS TAXCO public station in Valencia. It was the first public NGV station in Spain for heavy vehicles in fast loading. The design, custom construction was performed and comprehensive maintenance is performed.
• Public station for REPSOL in Fontioso, Burgos. The first REPSOL GNLC station in Spain to supply LNG and CNG for light and heavy vehicles. The design, custom construction was performed and comprehensive maintenance is performed.
• Private station for forklifts in the COBEGA logistics warehouse of the Coca-Cola Group. The 40 trucks work in 3 shifts performing fast loading. The design, custom construction and basic maintenance is performed.
• Charging station up to 170 buses in fast charge for Urban Leganés. The design, custom construction and basic maintenance is performed.
• Factory SEAT Martorell in Barcelona. The design and adaptation of areas for work with CNG vehicles is being carried out: rooms, workshops, motor banks, vehicle reception …
• Transfer of cargo facilities. The complete transfer of FERROVIAL Aranjuez’s cargo facilities from ACCIONA Alcobendas to new locations has been carried out so that they can continue to load vehicles at full capacity.
• Modifications of flow of facilities. Adaptation has been made to compression equipment in TMB and in Urban of Leganés, aspiring to a greater pressure range, to be able to attend a fleet increase.
